Carrie Baird is a lifelong resident of Lynn, MA. As the Administrator of Lynn Home for Elderly Persons, she is dedicated to providing seniors in the community with a soft place to land.

Carrie has been providing nursing care since 1993. Having held the position of Nurse Manager here at the Shore View House from 2005-2017, she understands the needs of residents at the home, which helps her provide individualized, high-quality care.

Carrie is a proud graduate of the Soldier’s Home nursing program in Chelsea, MA where she excelled as Vice President of her class and received her nursing pin with high honors. Carrie’s empathetic nature and exceptional interpersonal skills have made her a beloved figure among both residents and staff. She goes above and beyond to ensure that her facility is a warm and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of community and compassion.

As an administrator, Carrie’s vision extends far beyond daily operations. She actively seeks innovative approaches to enhance the quality of care provided, continuously striving to improve the facility’s practices, policies, and programs. Her strong advocacy for resident-centered care ensures that every decision made prioritizes the wellbeing and dignity of those entrusted to Lynn Home for Elderly Persons.

Outside of her work, she enjoys decorating, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets. Her true passion in life has always been caring for others.
